Courses
At our school we offer Greek language courses for all students of all levels and ages. During our lessons we focus on every aspect of language learning and we also plan customized lessons according to students’ needs and interests.
Also, we use interactive materials, such as quizzes, assessment tests, songs, videos and podcasts and, after each lesson, the lesson materials and the assignments will be sent to you. Furthermore, we enrich our lessons with cultural information in order to immerse our students in the Greek way of life and culture. For learners who are interested in Greek literature and poetry, they have the opportunity of approaching texts and poems through simplified books for B1- B2, C1 -C2 students.
Modern Greek Language Courses
This course is offered to all students of any level who are interested in learning Greek as a foreign language and the aim is to develop all language skills in learners, namely, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Also, you will learn modern Greek phrases and how to communicate in real life circumstances and talk and write about a wide range of topics. During our lessons, you will have the opportunity to speak in Greek and put all your knowledge into practice, but we also organize specific conversation classes in order to speak more!
In our lessons we use course books that are certified and structured in accordance with the Common European Framework for Languages and authentic material, like articles, and we enrich our lessons with a variety of activities.
According to your level you will:
- Learn and enrich your vocabulary
- Develop your grammar skills
- Become a confident speaker in your everyday life.
- Understand and use common expressions in Modern Greek in order to communicate in everyday situations.
- Develop basic writing skills.

Exam preparation
“Εllinomatheia” Exams
We offer courses to students who are interested in “Ellinomtheia Exams”. The Certificate of Attainment in Greek, or Ellinomatheia, is the only certificate of proficiency in the Greek language that is offered and recognized by the Greek state.
The Certificate can be obtained at each of the six proficiency levels (Α1, Α2, Β1, Β2, C1, C2) that are defined by the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference for Teaching Foreign Languages (CEFR).
At our school, students are offered ample preparation for the exams, by means of suitable material and by practicing with the past exam papers of “KEΓ”.

Certificate of Knowledge Adequacy for Naturalization (PEGP)
We offer courses to students who wish to take the exam for the acquisition of Greek citizenship. At our school, students are helped to prepare for the exams, by means of suitable material in accordance with the specific requirements.

Greek Conversation & Practice
This course is organized in such a way as to practice your speaking skills.
We offer the chance to Α1 + and A2 students who wish to put their knowledge into practice and they can combine this with General Greek Courses. It is also ideal for students who would like to communicate with locals in a specific context during their visit to Greece. During our lessons you will learn how to communicate in everyday situations, like ordering in a café or a restaurant, shopping, and learning how to use means of transportation, asking for directions and talking about you and your family.
Furthermore, this course is ideal for more intermediate and advanced levels (B1, B2, C1, C2), as it requires a basic knowledge of Greek as well as a satisfactory understanding of grammar and vocabulary. In our courses, we will discuss topics, such as family, friends, daily habits, weather, food, likes, dislikes, describing people, feelings and relationships, entertainment, health and body, public services, the environment, jobs, education and more social and everyday issues that concern us.

Greek for travelers
If you have any plans to visit Greece then this is probably the ideal course for you. You will learn Greek words and phrases that will help you get around while traveling in Greece. During our lessons, you will practice and interact through our customized material in order to learn some basic words and phrases.
After the completion of the course you:
- Will learn basic phrases and enrich your vocabulary
- Will be able to communicate in basic everyday circumstances
- Will come closer to the Greek language and culture and you will enjoy your trip more.

Greek as second language
This course is for bilingual students or students who use Greek as a second language. This usually means that they speak Greek at home with their family. During our lessons we use the material of elementary school in Greece according to the kids’ age and needs. Students will have access to reading and writing projects in Greek and will achieve an all-around improvement of all types of language skills.

About Greek Culture & History
In whichever course you choose, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Greek. Our purpose is not only to teach Greek, but to also bring our students closer to Greek Culture and to offer them the opportunity to be informed about significant historical events and National Anniversaries, as well as to bring them closer to Greek culture, traditions, customs and Greek culinary habits.
