  1. What is a trial lesson?

1. What is a Trial Lesson?
The duration of the trial lesson is approximately 30 minutes and it is free. Its purpose is for students is to meet each other, and engage with the virtual classroom and the material. Additionally, we will define your level through interactive activities and also discuss your needs and wishes. Moreover, you will let us know your availability and preferred time slots, and whether you are interested in a private, semi private, or group class. We may sometimes require your patience in order to find you a classmate, but in whichever case, we will keep you posted.

2. What is my level?

At our school we provide a free trial lesson in order for you to meet, interact with the material and, through this process, your teacher will understand your level. Moreover, we also provide you with placement tests which have been designed in order to place students in a class that is suitable for their level in the context of the Greek language course. They also help students to assess and identify the approximate level of their Greek writing skills.

3. Do I need books for the lesson?

Yes, although the lessons are online, you need your learning materials like you do in a traditional educational setting. It is necessary to be equipped with your coursebook. Your teacher will provide you with all required information.

4. Do I receive the material after the lesson?

Yes, after the lesson you will receive the lesson material with the notes, the new vocabulary and the assignments for the next class.

5. Do I have any assignments after the class?

Yes, the teacher always sends you assignments to complete and new material to study. Kindly email the homework to your teacher at least 1 day prior to the scheduled lesson, so that they have enough time to correct it.

6. What happens if I do not have time to complete the homework?

In the case that you do not have time to complete the homework you will practise with your teacher. Although if you participate in a group class it is important to complete the homework in order to keep at the same pace as your classmates.

What happens if I want to cancel a semi private or a group lesson?

Group lessons cannot be canceled or rescheduled. However, if you cannot manage to attend the class, you will receive a link of the recorded lesson, so you will not miss anything from the class progress.

What happens if I do not have time to complete the homework?

In the case that you do not have time to complete the homework you will practise with your teacher. Although if you participate in a group class it is important to complete the homework in order to keep at the same pace as your classmates.

7. What happens if I want to cancel a private lesson?

If you have to cancel or reschedule your private lesson please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class in order to find other slot for the class. In case your cancellation in less than 24 hours prior to the lesson, the lesson will be charged and you will receive a recorded lesson.

8. What happens if I want to cancel a semi private or a group lesson?

Semi private or Group lessons cannot be canceled or rescheduled. However, if you cannot manage to attend the class, you will receive a link of the recorded lesson, so you will not miss anything from the class progress.
